Practices & Community Engagement
At FOUND, personal growth and collective well-being are supported through intentional practices, education, and shared experiences.
We gather to learn, reflect, create, and connect — not to worship, but to cultivate awareness, responsibility, and care for ourselves and the ecosystems we are part of.
Our practices are grounded in science, ecology, and personal agency. Participation is voluntary, and members are encouraged to approach each experience with curiosity rather than obligation.
Ecological Awareness & Symbolism
FOUND draws inspiration from nature as a model for connection and interdependence.
Water and fungal networks are often used as symbolic representations of this interconnectedness:
Water reminds us that life is cyclical, adaptive, and shared. It connects ecosystems and sustains all living beings.
Fungal networks (mycelium) demonstrate how organisms cooperate beneath the surface, sharing nutrients and information in ways that support collective health.
These natural systems are not objects of worship. They are educational and symbolic tools that help illustrate the principles of interconnection, sustainability, and mutual support.
Learning, Exploration & Personal Growth
FOUND encourages:
Lifelong learning
Scientific curiosity
Creative expression
Emotional awareness
Skill-building for real-world resilience
Responsible exploration of ideas
Some gatherings may include educational discussions around ecology, biology, consciousness, and the evolving understanding of human experience. We prioritize informed consent, legal compliance, and personal responsibility in all programming
A Note on Participation
FOUND does not require belief in a deity, altered states, or metaphysical claims. There are no mandatory rituals, no prescribed spiritual experiences, and no hierarchy of enlightenment.
We focus on growth in this lifetime through knowledge, connection, creativity, and service
